Request a free assessmentOur 11+ groups welcome children in Years 4, 5 and 6. Sessions last 75 minutes, with a regular weekly place during term time.
For September 2027 entry, Ermysted’s, Skipton Girls’ and the Halifax grammar schools use FSCE tests covering English and maths, with multiple-choice and written responses. The Halifax schools also include creative writing. Ermysted’s explicitly excludes creative writing, while Skipton Girls’ describes English and maths. The same provider does not mean identical questions or timings: check each school’s official guidance and the guides below.

Questions before getting started?
Can we meet before committing to tuition?
Yes. A free assessment is the starting point for discussing your child’s needs and suitable support.
Where do sessions take place?
At Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre, Higher Heights Farm, Heights Lane, Bingley, BD16 3AH.
Is one-to-one or group tuition better for my child?
That depends on the individual student. Elizabeth can discuss the options with you at the assessment.
