Terms & conditions

What to expect when your child attends Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre.

These terms are the agreement between Elizabeth’s Tuition Centre in Bingley (“we” or “the Centre”) and you, the parent or guardian of a child attending tuition. By enrolling your child, you agree to these terms.

Registering and attending

  • Please complete a registration form before your child attends.
  • We expect regular attendance. Please tell us if your child cannot attend a session.
  • We may withdraw a place if attendance is irregular or fees are unpaid.

Fees and payment

  • You pay after the sessions, weekly, monthly or termly, as agreed with the Centre.
  • Please pay by the agreed deadline. If payment is more than 14 days overdue, we may pause tuition until the outstanding amount is paid.
  • All fees are strictly non-refundable.

Cancellations and missed sessions

  • If your child misses a session, you must still pay for it and no refund will be given.
  • If your child is ill or there is an emergency, we may be able to offer another session, depending on availability. We cannot guarantee this.
  • If we cancel a session, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund.

Behaviour, arrival and collection

  • Children must treat staff and other students respectfully.
  • We may withdraw tuition if a child’s behaviour is persistently disruptive.
  • Please make sure your child arrives and is collected on time.

Keeping children safe

  • We follow safeguarding and child protection policies to keep students safe.
  • Please tell us about any medical conditions, allergies or additional needs.
  • In an emergency, we will act in your child’s best interests and contact you immediately.

Personal belongings and liability

  • While we take care, we cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings that are lost or damaged.
  • The Centre is not liable for any injury, accident or illness, except where caused by proven negligence.

Personal information

  • We use personal information to arrange and provide tuition, communicate with families and meet our legal responsibilities, as explained in our privacy policy.
  • Elizabeth is the only ETC staff member with routine access. Authorised technical providers support our systems, and relevant information may be shared where needed for safeguarding or another lawful purpose. Our privacy policy explains access, your rights and how long records are kept.

Ending tuition

  • You or the Centre can end this agreement by giving two weeks’ written notice.
  • We may end the agreement immediately because of unpaid fees, safeguarding concerns or serious misconduct.

Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms, giving you reasonable notice. You can ask us for the latest version at any time.

By enrolling your child, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms. If anything is unclear, please contact Elizabeth before enrolling.
